The Mummy (2017), is the fourth part of this franchise. The movie is directed by Alex Kurtzman. The movie made headlines around the globe because of the famous Hollywood actor Tom Cruise who took the lead in the rule and was replaced by the earlier lead actor Brendan Fraser who did incredible acting and was famous for it. Many things in this movie were changed, the actress Sofia Boutella performed this time the mummy is supposed to be a woman named Ahmanet. 1). Kurtzman wasn’t sold on Tom Cruise

Well, the fact of the Tom Cruise is such a big movie star who always try to save the day, anyhow they had to put a challenging part in the movie to make things more believable. They added the challenging part for tom cruise which is coming back from the dead and then cruises screaming like a girl when he saw the mummy. I guess we didn’t see anything is coming. Kurtzman said I know tom is going to do this movie and when we started writing the script the thing which we talked about, He also mentioned that he listens and just worked with tom cruise for the mission (unbelievable). He said I have 30 plus year embedded that tom cruise who saves the day according to my experience as an actor.

2). Stunts

Annabelle Wallis and Tom Cruise, they both do their stunt in a zero-gravity scene. We know the Tom Cruise do stunts with his own. Wallis role was determined to be just badass as he was. She said I felt determined to prove myself to the world. I was competitive, so I thought if you can do it why cannot me, so I wanted to push myself physically, but I hadn’t any chance till now. I didn’t involve in this project for scope or size. This scene took 64 takes and shot over within two days in a falling airplane. That’s the great thing that Wallis wanted to be right up there with tom cruise, and she proved.

3). Fans didn’t like Brendan being replaced

We all know that Tom Cruise is a popular and famous actor. Brendan Fraser already did legendary act in which tom cruise was going to take a step into the role. Brendan makes his role impressive and to be honest cruise was not master in a career of horror and comedy. After an announcement was made, that cruise is going to take this role, so the audience was not happy ‘’Tom Cruise’s Mummy is a flop” to read a top post of Brendan Fraser devoted subreddit. 4). Is Tom Cruise a Mummy

When we see the trailer of the movie The Mummy, we thought that is representing the scary female version of the original movie mummy – the badass chick who was determined to rule the world and kill anyone who gets in her way, but there was another story which was very interesting. Many people discussed that tom cruise is coming back in a movie to be the mummy. I know that makes insane. It was an excellent idea that makes the movie more interesting. When the Kurtzman asked about this theory, he said, “great question, after following a long pause then another reporter’s question was “it sounds like the director has a little secret, and yes, we loved this theory that Cruise is The Mummy.

You can sure be surprised to find out that Tom Cruise supposed to take on the lead in an original The Mummy movie. Director offered the role to him at that time, and it was turned down. But he has his career with a different project in 1999. So, the role which offered to the Tom Cruise went to the Brendan Fraser, who did an impressive job. We were happy that role went to Brendan because Brendan was one we imagine for this role. It’s very funny that 18 years after the original role cruise decided to come back and take the lead in the role. But it’s been too late, and the fans don’t want that cruise to take over this role. If it happens then, the movie can flop, and that’s the truth.
